We’re Working To Make Wisconsin Rapids Great!
Daily Tribune Media has been a part of the community for more than 90 years. We don’t just report on our community—we live, work, and raise our families here. Whether feeding the hungry or pitching in to clean up our neighborhoods, our people have a passion for giving back to the area we call home.
Annually, Daily Tribune Media provides thousands of dollars in in-kind advertising and numerous hours of volunteer service in our community. Below are just a few of the programs in which we lead the effort.
Stock the Shelves Campaign: Annually Daily Tribune Media hosts this community challenge in which we bring to light the hunger needs of those in our community. The 2014 campaign generated $26,500 for two local pantries/food programs.
Make A Difference Day: Sponsored by Gannett’s USA WEEKEND, the largest national day of helping others brings together millions the fourth Saturday of every October. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, Daily Tribune Media helped provide books to local children through the United Way.
Gannett Foundation: Across the nation, the Gannett Foundation raises millions in grants and matching employee donations. Locally, grants have supported organizations such as United Way and Very Special Arts of Wisconsin.
